MoogTemplates
These are various starting points for simulating a Minimoog. They vary by
oscillator waveform selection, octave settings, and output effects. They are
mostly distilled from patches in the moonlife directory.

They all feature a linear glide generator (the large stack of modules on the
lower left). The distinguishing feature between this glide generator and the
Nord portamento modules is that the glide generator has a constant glide
rate (as set by the glide amount knob) as opposed to constant time, as is
the case with the portamento modules. What this means for playing is that
larger intervals take longer to track than smaller intervals, just like on a
    Minimoog.

Known bug: the source signal for the glide generator is the Keyboard Patch
module's Latest Note output. In v3.03 of the Nord Modular software, this
module incorrectly outputs the sum of the latest note + a snapshot of
pitchbend at the time of note on. It should output the only the note
information without pitch bend. Because of this, pitch bending while playing
note with glide amount set to be noticeable, may not have the desired
effect. This problem should correct itself when Clavia corrects the Keyboard
    Patch module.

The knob and MIDI controller mapping for each patch is documented in each
patch's notes (see the Notes Floater).

moonlife
These are Minimoog emulation settings as used in my band, moonlife. Each
patch is named for the song in which it is used. There is some overlap
between these patches and the MoogTemplates.

I made them in order to use the Nord Modular instead of the Minimoog for
live performance. When making these patches, I had my Micro Modular right
next to the Minimoog for comparison. After a bit of fine tuning I'm no
longer able to tell the difference (which I think says more for the
cleverness of the Clavia engineering team than my skill at programming).

Don't believe me? Then compare CantStop.pch to the Minimoog solo I played
on the moonlife song "Can't Stop" found at:

Misc
The product of various experiments. Read the notes for each patch in the
    Notes Floater.
